SNPE informed Tessenderlo Group that at the end of August 2011, SNPE held 7,847,863 shares of Tessenderlo Chemie, resulting in a shareholding of 26.6%. As no threshold was crossed, which would require notification (see below), the information was provided on a voluntary basis.
In addition, identified shares held by employees of Tessenderlo Group amounted to 310,480, representing 1.1% of outstanding shares.
Notification
Shareholders whose stake in Tessenderlo Chemie NV's capital surpasses the threshold of 5 % and each multiple of 5 %, in either direction, are required to notify the Belgian Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA) (Mailto: TRP.Fin@fsma.be) and Tessenderlo Chemie NV (Mailto: jo.verspecht@tessenderlo.com).
