Gelatin exempted from REACH registration

The gelatin Business Unit of Tessenderlo Group announces that the gelatin and gelatin related products are exempted from registration in REACH as part of the EC Regulation 1907/2006.
In annex you may find the statements as issued by GME on the reason why it was decided end of 2008 to go for a preregistration anyway and the argumentation on the exemption as being accepted now by the European authorities via the German Helpdesk.
