Liquid and speciality fertilisers

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI) is a worldwide leader in the production and marketing of speciality liquid fertilisers. TKI sulphur-based liquid fertilisers and soil amendments are used on a wide variety of crops for nutritional enhancement. THIO-SUL® brand ammonium thiosulphate (ATS®) and our APS 600® and NITRO-SUL® brand ammonium polysulphide (APS™) products are market leaders. THIO-SUL acts as a nitrification inhibitor, slows hydrolysis of urea in UAN and provides sulphur required for crops.
On December 24, 2008 Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. was granted a European Patent for "Magnesium Thiosulfate Solution and Process for Preparing Same". European designations are for Belgium, France and Germany.

Two more important products are the TRISERT® family of triazone-based slow release nitrogen clear liquid fertilizers and KTS® brand potassium thiosulphate solution. Derived from N-SURE® nitrogen solution, TRISERT® solutions contain our patented urea triazone formulation of slow release nitrogen (SRN).

This unique form of nitrogen is released slowly to avoid burning plants, and is absorbed more efficiently increasing plant vigour and yields. Urea triazone may be used in different blends and combined with other plant nutrient products. When applied with KTS® (potassium thiosulphate), our high analysis K plus S, they produce synergistic benefits. NZN® is our patented clear liquid micronutrient fertiliser. It is zinc in a more easily absorbed form, combined with an extremely efficient source of nitrogen. Research shows NZN® is up to 10 times more effective than other zinc sources.
