Health and Hygiene

In addition to our global presence in the industrial market, Tessenderlo Group also produces a range of products for the health and hygiene industries. Through our worldwide network of subsidiaries, we manufacture and distribute products that are used in a range of applications from drugs and hospital equipment, to home cosmetics.

Tessenderlo Group is active in the pharmaceutical industry in both the branded market, and generic market, supplying a range of advanced intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients for the drugs themselves, as well as gelatin for digestible capsules. In addition to the range of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies we contribute to, our plastics business unit manufactures the PVC and compounds found in hospital equipment such as blood bags and catheters.

Our products can also be found closer to home, as we supply a range of chemicals to the body care market. From the grip on a toothbrush, to the ingredients in shampoo, skin creams and perfumes, the group has an important role in the health and hygiene market.
