The Tessenderlo Pharma Business Strategy is to target the N-2, N-1 and API for the branded market throughout the whole product life cycle (Phase I, II, III, during launch and when marketed) by offering custom manufacturing in their facilities across Europe. We are also active in the generic market and continue to consolidate our position.
Gelatin, with a pH close to neutral, is easily absorbed by our human metabolism. It is therefore the principal constituent of hard and soft capsules, which are used in the pharmaceutical industry to protect medication from oxidation and moisture.
Tessenderlo Group produces both Soft Capsule Gelatin and Hard Capsule Gelatine.
