Of our main markets, the industrial sector is perhaps the largest, and is the area in which Tessenderlo Group is the most apparent. As for all other businesses, our primary objectives remain the same; we are committed to the sustainable production of products of the highest quality.

Tessenderlo Group is active in many profitable subdivisions of the industrial market and has recently expanded its ferric chloride production to consolidate its leading position in the water treatment sector. Further to this, our chemicals can be found in the flavour and fragrance market in a range of everyday items such as perfumes, shower gels and sweets.

A large part of our chemical production, however, is destined for the industrial chemicals sector itself, and Tessenderlo Group notably occupies leading positions for the production of chemicals such as, caustic soda, caustic potash and sodium sulphide used in the manufacture of amongst others paper, aluminium, detergents and even biodiesel.

Finally, our advances in the automotive sector have seen our specialised PVC and thermoplastic compounds used across a progressively wider range of vehicles, reinforcing our market position.
