CTS: Specialised products by leading professionals

The wide range of products developed by CTS engineers is able to cater to a large spectrum of applications, each with different designs and varying operating environments.

In response to the diversity of these demands, CTS has created two distinct product families:

Tefabloc®: The benchmark elastomer

Particularly popular for its unique feel, appearance and ease of application, Tefabloc® is used in a wide range of applications such as food contact, electrical appliances and furnishing as well as leisure and sanitary products.

One of the major advantages of Tefabloc® is its chemical compatibility with a range of polymers, from the most common such as polypropylene, to the most specialised. As a result of this versatility, products can be made which integrate several functions, minimising assembly work and reducing costs. This extensive range is essentially composed of formulations based on styrenic copolymer blocs (SEBS and SBS) but also includes TPU-based alloys, which are scratchproof, and TPE-O.

At the cutting edge of technology, CTS has signed a license agreement with DOW Chemical. CTS is therefore the first European compound producer to integrate DOW Chemical's INFUSE® olefin bloc copolymers ä into its TPE compounds. The Tefabloc® TP range based on this technology therefore offers the best money to quality and performance ratio in its field.

Tefanyl®: Specialised PVC

PVC has always been widely recognized for its excellent cost/ performance ratio.
Supple or rigid, Téfanyl® can be compact of foamed, opaque or transparent, in its natural colour or with added pigmentation, PVC's versatility is endless.
Several grades are apt to be processed on standard injection machine, and in many cases, the use hot runners is possible.
