Sodium hydrosulphide
Tessenderlo Group is a major producer of sodium hydrogen sulphide in the world.
The product is available in solid fused form, in flakes or in an aqueous solution.
In its solid fused form, it is packed in 320 kg net weight iron drums.
The flakes are packed in polyethylene bags of 25 kg net or in various types of big bags.
Liquid solutions of various concentrations up to 72 % are delivered in tank lorries or tank wagons.
Applications are mining industry (flotation of oxidized and mixed ores: copper, zinc, cobalt, molybdenum, nickel,…), leather industry (tanning) as unhairing agent, pulp and paper industry, metal extraction from aqueous solutions, textiles (sulphur dye) and chemical processing.
