What You’ll Do
✅ Perform daily I&E maintenance tasks and support projects in coordination with plant management.
✅ Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems such as control valves, transmitters, PLCs and flow meters.
✅ Collaborate with the Lead I&E Technician and contribute to the success of the department through teamwork and accountability.
✅ Support continuous improvement efforts in reliability, documentation and preventative maintenanced.
✅ Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
✅ Maintain accurate records, work orders and compliance documentation.
✅ Participate actively in daily safety meetings and monthly inspections to support our strong safety culture.
✅ Work in all environments — plant, office and outdoors in both summer heat and cold Montana winters.
Profile
What You’ll Bring
✔ High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control is preferred.
✔ Strong hands-on experience in electrical and/or instrumentation roles, ideally in industrial or chemical plant settings.
✔ Eagerness to learn, take initiative and grow into greater responsibility.
✔ Proficiency in troubleshooting, schematics, motor control, calibration and industrial control systems.
✔ Familiarity with NFP 70E, PLCs and preventive maintenance systems.
✔ Strong computer literacy, communication and documentation skills.
✔ A proactive and safety-first mindset with a strong work ethic.
✔ Physically able to stand, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear required respiratory equipment (including SCBA if needed).
