The stock control team are focused on ensuring that branches have the necessary stock available to service our customers. This means working efficiently and effectively to ensure stock levels are accurate and in the optimum place but within the purchasing policy set and also to manage and control slow moving stockThe stock control team work as an internal supplier to branches and a customer to suppliers.What you'll do:
Management of slim4 – execute stock replenishments,Action internal stock transfersProcessing of branch/ supplier ordersStock replenishment administrationMaintenance of stock recordsReport stock checks – oversee/analyse/prepare resultsManage and control slow moving stockRespond to Branch and Supplier queriesWork together with Supply Chain, sharing information, product and supplier awareness
To be successful in this role you should have a strong eye for detail, possess strong organisational skills, be able to work on your own initiative and build effective relationships easily, often within a demanding and target driven environment.
