Safety as a daily choice

In 2025, we reduced Lost Time Injuries and Medical Treatment Injuries by 30%. Our safety performance improved for the third year in a row.

These results are not accidental. They are the outcome of a clear Group safety roadmap for 2025–2027, focused on prevention, ownership, and dialogue. The roadmap is built on five priorities:

  • Visual communication to make risks and rules visible
  • Leading indicators to act before incidents happen
  • Self‑assessment to strengthen ownership at every level
  • Safety rules that are clear, practical, and enforced
  • Safety dialogues that encourage speaking up and stepping in

Across Tessenderlo Group, teams translate this roadmap into daily actions, identifying risks early, reporting near misses, and stepping in when something is not right.

Protecting the health, safety, and well‑being of colleagues is part of how we operate every day. It supports our purpose: we build for future generations, creating long‑term value in everything we do. Nothing is worth getting hurt for, and safety starts with the choices you make at work, every day.

One Group, many initiatives

Each Tessenderlo Group company translates this shared focus into practical action, adapted to its activities and sites.

At DYKA GROUP colleagues launched the We‑CARE safety campaign and rolled out a safety app to support reporting and learning across plants and branches.

At AKIOLIS disciplined safety leadership and open dialogue helped reduce the frequency rate by half over two years, with more than half of the sites operating without lost-time incidents for over a year.

Building safely, together

Safety at Tessenderlo Group is about looking out for one another and taking ownership at every level. By speaking up, stepping in, and acting early, we protect people and operations alike.

On World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we want to thank colleagues across all Tessenderlo Group companies. These results reflect your daily choices, your attention on the job, and your willingness to act when safety is at stake.

Because every molecule counts. And so does every colleague who goes home safe at the end of the day.
