For the realization of their ambitious worldwide Digital Roadmap, the Tessenderlo Group global ICT department, located in Brussels, is looking for a Medior ABAP developer and SAP authorization analyst. As ABAP developer you are expected to co-design, implement and develop programs, extensions on the SAP application systems. In the role as SAP authorization analyst you are reinforcing the team by helping in the day to day user authorization challenges. In these roles you:

  • Liaise with functional team and business users to define development requirements
  • Review existing operations, implement new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered Document and draw up procedures
  • Work effectively with other global ICT competence teams to discuss and recommend complex and/or innovative technical developments to improve quality of the developments
  • Support the Technical Architect in the documentation of complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the required changes
  • Developing technical specifications for SAP custom report or interface or enhancement or form to solve complex business problems based on end user functional requirements
  • Developing programs that conform to the functional and technical specification
  • Planning and executing unit testing, string testing, and integration testing
  • Support all levels of testing, problem solving and bug fixing
  • Performance tuning of program
  • Define and assign authorization roles and profiles to users
  • Analyze and resolve user authorization issues

You report to the Technical Architect & DevOps Team lead.

Profile

  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Good ABAP Consultant with Fiori knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with ABAP developments
  • Background in SAP ABAP Development
  • Basis process industry experience
  • S4 projects completed
  • Project implementation experience with SAP ERP and S/4HANA
  • CDS Views and BTP experience is a plus
  • Proactive communication
  • Able to work independently
  • Team player, open to collaborate within a multicultural and global context, with good communication skills in Dutch-English or French-English, both written and verbally
  • With your proactive and entrepreneurial approach, you keep on spotting opportunities for optimization and take the initiative to formulate structural solutions
  • Willing to travel occasionally, mainly within Europe
